Act like a man – Ex-Everton star slams Victor Moses for hiding from his Russian club

Former Everton midfielder, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has slammed Victor Moses for going missing from his Russian club side, Sparta Moscow.

Sparta had declared Moses missing after the former Super Eagles winger failed to resume pre-season training as expected on Wednesday.

The club have their pre-season camp in Tarasovka ahead of the new season.

The Red and Whites have all the players in training camp except the former Nigeria International.

And Bilyaletdinov has slammed the former Crystal Palace and Chelsea winger for abandoning his club without having any form of discussion.

Bilyaletdinov highlighted that Moses should have made his intentions clear regarding his future

“Such actions are not respectable. If you want to break the contract, you need to come and express your position like a man,” Bilyaletdinov said to Sports24.ru.

“In Spartak, people are not stupid. But hiding and not getting in touch is not worthy of a professional. Especially at the level of Moses.

“I’m shocked by this. It would be nice if a player of a smaller caliber did this. But Moses has to behave solidly.

“If it so happens that he will no longer play for Spartak, it will be a big loss for the club. He proved to everyone that he is a high-class player.”

Aubameyang wins league title despite playing just 8 minutes

Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has become a league champion this season.

This is despite the Gabon international playing just eight minutes of football.

Aubameyang was recognised as part of LaLiga champions Barcelona’s title-winning squad despite the former Borussia Dortmund star being a Chelsea player since last summer.

The Catalans were handed the Spanish top-flight title on Sunday after a 4-2 win at Espanyol.

The African star was part of Xavi’s side at the very start of the season before he joined Chelsea and came off the bench for a late cameo in their opening game against Rayo Vallecano.

In the top flight of English football, players need to have made a minimum of five league appearances to be considered a member of the title-winning squad.

But in Spain and elsewhere in Europe that is not the case, meaning that Aubameyang’s eight minutes game for Barca are all he needed to be crowned a champion this term.

Aubameyang has endured a dreadful season at Stamford Bridge, having scored just three goals in 21 appearances.
