Show promoter, Kogbagidi gifts himself two beautiful houses on his birthday

International show promoter, Olasunkanmi Quadri Taoreed better known as Kogbagidi, has shown off two beautiful new houses he got for himself in celebration of his birthday.

The talent manager turned a new age on June 21 and decided to launch the exquisite cribs via his Instagram page.

One of Kogbagidi’s newly unveiled houses is reportedly located in Lagos Island while the other is on the mainland. He also penned a celebratory post on his IG page while sharing photos and videos.

He wrote; ”Today 21st of June , 2022 as I thank God Almighty for the gift of life , I also thank him for multiple blessings of good health and wealth. He has not only used me to build people but also used me to build a permanent place of abode for myself.

A huge thanks to all my friends, family and fans who have added the pinch of spice , excitement, love and happiness to my being .

We will continue to do greater things. Ejeh KOGBAGIDI noni.”

Kogbagidi added in another post; ”HBD 2 ME 🎊 JUNE 21

It’s a multiple blessing I said

Deaths in Nollywood: Odunlade Adekola seeks God’s intervention

Famous Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has sought God’s intervention over the death plaguing the Nigerian movie industry.

This is coming after the death of another Nollywood actress, Wunmi Olowokandi who lost her life on Monday evening.

Wunmi’s death is the fourth in Nollywood in less than a week after St. Obi and Murphy Afolabi.

Reacting to the death of the deceased, Odunlade in a post on his official Instagram page prayed for God to shut the door of untimely death in the movie industry.

He wrote: “Unquestionable you are the LORD. I pray God will close the door of untimely death in our industry and in the house of every one of us in Jesus name.”

Recall that actor Murphy Afolabi’s death was announced on Sunday after he reportedly fell and slumped in his bathroom.

Davido snubs Don Jazzy in his list of ‘OGs’ of Nigerian music

Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has snubbed veteran producer and singer-cum-music executive, Don Jazzy, in his list of contemporary Nigerian music legends.

He, however, mentioned Don Jazzy’s former partner at Mo’hit Records, D’banj, in his list of Nigerian music industry’s legends, otherwise known as “OGs”.

Davido dropped the list while appearing on the latest episode of Bootleg Kev audiovisual podcast.

When asked about the pioneers of modern Nigerian music, he said, “Definitely D’banj. He was one of the artists I saw while growing up. D’banj, 2Face…So, the big 3 then were D’banj, 2Face, and there was a group of twins called P-Square. Those were our OGs. They were the people that made this thing possible.”
